FUCK THE POLICE

The cops are out in full force this Memorial Day weekend so if you're driving make sure to obey all street signs.
You don't want to get caught out there like I did this afternoon.

Its a Celebration!!

The Celebration is on!

Its not a surprise birthday party or anything, I mean the guest of honor has occupied the same place for 125 years. With that said you would think that the very least I could is to be on time. --Well I wasn't. I could blame traffic, but 1010 wins warned me. I could have blamed one of my best friends Gin, but he was waiting for me to call him.

To make the story short, I parked the car next to the bridge, and as we were walking towards Empire State Ferry Park I heard the fireworks. "Oh shit, they started without us"

The images you are about see were taken on the on the run! Enjoy

Grand Opening!

OK party people. Your boy, Jules -aka- BrooklynUnion, -aka- Kings(z) County!, -aka- DJ 4 to 1, is now blogging!
I know what you're thinking, and honestly I'm thinking the same thing. However, with a little discipline I'm sure this blog will be successful. Besides what better way, aside from Homecookin' Radio is there for me to share with you the things that I find near and dear to my heart??

Today, (5/22) The Brooklyn Bridge Turns 125 years old and shes just as beautiful now as she was then!
Last night while rushing home from Homecookin' Radio (HCR) I was crossing the Manhattan Bridge. While crossing it Duepayer and I noticed that the bridge was fully lit, with spotlights and all. We assumed it was for a movie shoot. Now I n
ormally carry the Canon with me, but for some reason I left it at home. After dropping Duepayer off a sped home, grabbed the Canon, and jumped back in the Volvo, all while frantically trying to reach Mike G. If theres anyone who would appreciate this as much as I did, it would be my brother and fellow Brooklynite (Born and Bred) Unfortunately he was still at work. I parked the Volvo in DUMBO and started walking towards the bridge. The feeling I had was like damn near no other. I was once led to believe that the bridge wouldn't be lit like this until it turned 200. (That's when the salesperson tried to sell me a print for $600) Well Fuck YOU SALES DUDE.

This Memorial Day weekend will be dedicated to shooting the Brooklyn Bridge just about every way possible. The only thing that would make
it better would be if 1200 was here. If she saw this personally, she would be a BK resident in no time!

OK, Enough Chatter for now. Here are the first in what should be many BK flicks.
